Originally from the surfing wilderness of Tasmania, Christiaan Bradley’s start in the surfboard industry came on Australia’s Gold Coast, sanding boards and foiling fins. On a European surf trip, he met Belly and landed the prime position of becoming the Channel Islands/Al Merrick ghost shaper at Euroglass, a role that put him in contact with the CI team and the greatest to ever stand on a board, Kelly Slater. The experience propelled his shaping to new levels, and ghost shaping was soon to be a thing of the past.
The Bradley label was born in 2011, to immediate acclaim for pros and everyday surfers alike, today World Tour surfers are continually in demand for another Bradley to add to their quiver. With high performance as his niche but creativity as his credo, over the last decade Christiaan has turned himself into one of the finest performance surfboard shapers in the world.
